Ex-Ekiti Governor, Ayodele Fayose

Ovation publisher, Dele Momodu, has in his weekly column ‘Pendulum’ shed more light on the perceived enmity between the Nigerian President, Muhammadu Buhari and the Ekiti State governor, Ayodele Fayose.

Recall that Fayose has s=constantly attacked the president and his administration as he recently stated that the Nigerian president who is currently in the United Kingdom is being stage managed by the cabal in his administration.

Fayose had also recently implied that the Nigerian president had lost his ability to speak as several other speculations held that he was being managed on life-support.

Reacting to the constant attacks by the state governor on the president especially after Buhari left the country for the second time in the year on May 7 for medical reasons, the Ovation magazine publisher sated that Fayose has hidden pathological disdain for the president.

In the column, Dele Momodu, known to be a staunch supporter of the President Muhammadu Buhari-led administration wrote: “the Governor of Ekiti State has never hidden his pathological disdain for Buhari. He attacks him with devastating blows and pugilistic upper cuts at every opportunity.

He continued: “Several times, Fayose has declared Buhari dead or incapacitated only to get egged on his face as the President rises like the proverbial Lazarus. He never gets tired of quoting impeccable sources and swearing and threatening to release damaging proof of his false doomsday prophesies.”

He further added that “so far, so good, he’s been dead wrong at every turn! Even if not entirely hale and hearty, Buhari continues to stand ramrod on his feet, albeit looking feeble and weak. There is no doubt that the President is presently enjoying better health than has been the case in the recent past.”
