Sony”s much hyped PlayStation 4 event was like hosting a gala wedding and not inviting the bride.
For two hours, Sony and its game developing partners talked about the upcoming game console, highlighting its social media features and advanced graphics capabilities.
It did not immediately disclose pricing, nor did it show off the actual console itself.
Sony said the console would be available for the holiday 2013 season.
It will include custom 8-core CPU, touch-screen dual-shock controllers and a new motion control camera.
