Today the 1st of September and there is a solar eclipse that has occurred that has been viewed across Africa in different countries.
The rare event has drummed up a huge amount of buzz from people who are excited to see the natural marvel that is an eclipse.
Scientists have warned that the eclipse should not be viewed with the naked eye as it could be harmful to the eyesight.
