Talented musician, Waje has reacted angrily to insinuations that she has not been adequately promoting her work.
Waje released her 10-track second album, Redvelvet in December 2018, five years after her first album, with lowkey publicity.
The artiste, whose real name is Aituaje Iruobe, said that she was no longer willing to put money in promoting her music because it has been gulping her funds with no commensurate returns.
In a trending video, Waje, who spoke in Pidgin English, said, “I no get money for publicity.”
She added, “I have ten things right in front of me but everytime it’s always my music that has been taking a bulk of the money.
“I am not willing to put money there anymore.”

Waje should do what other musicians do, get signed under a label and focus on producing good music. They do the marketing at their expense and both party share the returns.
