However, Herald Nigeria learnt that the aircraft was gotten in a strict “no rental, no timeshare” approach, according to a fresh report from aviation enthusiasts at TMZ.

According to the report, which clearly states that he “didn’t pay a dime for it,” Drake got the plane for free thanks to Cargojet, who are seeking publicity for their brand.

It was also learnt that such a craft of comfort would typically cost about $200 million, which translates to about N72 billion.

Announcing the news of Drake’s aircraft earlier this month, the CEO of Cargojet, Ajay Virmani said “We are very excited to partner with Drake as our ambassador and assisting him with his logistical needs and requirements.”

We have had a lengthy relationship with Drake and this partnership has grown organically between both parties. Cargojet and Drake are both great Canadian successes, we are thrilled to be partnering together,” he said.
