due to the fact that the company has been banned from doing businesses with U.S Companies so it doesn’t have Google services.

This means that the company’s next smartphone, P40 Pro won’t have Googles services on board, the phones might be next to useless to

everyone outside of China. The company’s past flagship smartphone, Mate 30 pro suffered the same fate.

Huawei will launch the phone at the end of next March, a month after the Mobile World Congress trade show, which takes place in late

February.

The phone won’t come with Gmail, Maps, or even a Play Store, making it a pretty horrible user experience unless you resort to various hacks

to install these apps, typically in a roundabout, horribly user-unfriendly manner. For users in China, this doesn’t matter.

The P40 Pro will likely be a good device, hardware-wise. According to Huawei’s CEO, Richard Yu says it will have a “never seen” design,

longer battery life, faster performance and improved photo quality.

Yu also said the P40 Pro will have Android 10 onboard, as well as the company’s EMUI user interface. This means the P40 Pro would be able

to dual boot both the Android 10 and Harmony OS.

The dual-boot strategy in Huawei’s P40 phones will allow users to choose from the OSs (Android 10 and HarmonyOS) at the time of booting.

It will also give users the backup option to run Android (AOSP), in case they don’t like HarmonyOS.
