The governing All Progressives Congress (APC) has said that it has no record of Edo State Governor, Mr. Godwin Obaseki’s defection to PDP.
Reacting to the reported defection of the governor, the National Publicity Secretary, Mallam Lanre Issa-Onilu in a terse statement in Abuja on Tuesday said that APC has no knowledge of Obaseki’s defection.

He said: “We cannot comment at this moment on media reports suggesting the Edo governor or anyone else has left our great party,
“The party has no record of the reported defection of Governor Godwin Obaseki from the Progressive party.”
