President Buhari has submitted a list of forty-one non-career ambassador nominees to the Senate for approval.
Buhari sent the list to the Senate on Wednesday July 1 for screening before confirmation.

Among the nominees are Oyo state indigene Debo Adesina who is a former Editor-in-chief at Guardian Newspapers, Ex-Minister of state for Defence. Ademola Sarki representing Lagos state, former Editor at This Day, Oma Djebah from Delta state and Kogi-born Segun Awoniyi.
