Jhene Aiko Set To Host 2021 Grammy Award Premiere Ceremony

The 2021 Grammy Awards premiere ceremony is around the corner and American singer, Jhene Aiko has been announced as the host for this year.

The Recording Academy announced Tuesday that the Grammy-nominated singer will host the pre-show, where most trophies are awarded. It will be streamed live on the Grammy’s website ahead of the 63rd annual ceremony on March 14.

The Grammys will be held in Los Angeles at the Staples Center.

The pre-show will feature performances by Burna Boy, singer Rufus Wainwright, jazz band Terri Lyne Carrington + Social Science, pianist Igor Levit, singer Poppy and Latin electropop musician Lido Pimienta.

Jhené Aiko’s third studio album “Chilombo” is nominated for album of the year and best progressive R&B album.  She’s also up for the best R&B performance for her song “Lightning & Thunder,” featuring John Legend.

The 2021 Grammy Awards were originally scheduled to take place in January before they were postponed to March due to the “deteriorating COVID situation in Los Angeles.”

Meanwhile, Veteran Nollywood actress, Rita Dominic has bagged an endorsement deal with a fitness company, GetFit.

Rita Dominic took to her social media to share the good news with her fans.

The unveiling of Rita Dominic as their new brand ambassador was accompanied by a short advertisement video that featured the star.
