Following the arrest of a 200-level University of Port Harcourt student identified as Ifeanyi Dike who was caught with the body of a 8-year-old girl who was suspected to have been killed for rituals, police sources have reported his escape.
Recall that Ifeanyi was reported to have been caught with the 8-year-old girl identified as Victory Chikamso after he had attempted to dump the body at a dumpsite.
Punch reports that Ifeanyi Dike who was caught by local vigilante in Eliozu axis of Port Harcourt escaped custody on Sunday night.
Police sources further revealed that a manhunt has been initiated for the fleeing suspect.
The suspect who is on the run was reported to have gouged out the eyes of the girl along with other organs including the vagina, a finger, and tongue.
