A jilted and angry housewife, Akarigbo Victoria, has been arrested by the police for stabbing her neighbour, Mrs Esther Favour, for mocking her over her failed marriage.
It was learnt that Victoria had returned back to her parents house with her three children after her husband sent her packing due to some irreconcilable differences.
The suspect, who was uncomfortable with the situation, remained in her parents house but was mocked by her neighbor whom she had a disagreement with in their house.
The sad incident took place at 6, Musa Close, Abule Odu, Idimu suburbs of lagos state where they both reside.
Mrs Esther, the neighbour, had taunted the suspect over her failed marriage and inability to remain in her husband’s home, which infuriated Victoria and made her stab the woman.
The matter was reported to the police at Idimu division and Victoria was arrested and charged to court.
At the Isolo Magistrate’s court where she was arraigned, she pleaded not guilty.
The presiding Magistrate, Mrs A.K. Shonubi granted her bail in the sum of N50,000 with one surety in like sum.
She was remanded in prison custody pending when she will perfect her bail condition.
The matter was adjourned till 14th December, 2016.
