Valentin Ivanov, 55, a former head of one of Russia’s largest oil companies has reportedly married his 18-year-old model girlfriend Elizaveta Adamenko.
The couple are understood to have been dating since Adamenko was 14. The age of sexual consent in Russia (as well as in Singapore where the couple lives), is 16.
Russian publication Prospekt Mira reports that the pair married six weeks ago in a French castle (Chateau Saint Jeannet) on the Cote D’Azur.
Pictures of the ceremony were posted on social media by the model’s friends, but they’ve since been deleted.
In recent pictures posted on social media the pair can be seen hugging and touching one another – some of these images have also been erased.
Adamenko’s Instagram account reveals the model’s expensive taste.
She is pictured driving a Bentley and a Ferrari, embarking on high-end shopping sprees, boarding a private jet and swimming off a yacht.
In a caption on an Instagram picture that appears to show her with her husband, she writes (translated from Russian): “People should have been more mature and clever.
“If you think that all models are tarts you should check your vocabulary.
“This is just a new level of communication, you can stick with your level and I am going to celebrate the 55th birthday of Valentin.”
