Atiku Urges Nigerians To Retain Hope For Better Nigeria

Former Vice President of Nigeria, Atiku Abubakar has called on Nigerians to celebrate Christmas with renewed hope for a better Nigeria. He also urged them to promote peace during this season of joy and good tidings.

This is contained in statement released in Abuja to newsmen and signed by Malam Garba Shehu, the Head of Media to the former vice-president.

Atiku, in the statement, further urged Nigerians to promote peace during this season of joy and good tidings.

“Our country is in trouble of maladministration marked by insecurity, but we should still celebrate Christmas with hope because it is a season of joy; and with prayers and deep reflections, God will heal our land and we shall prosper again,” the former Vice President said.

He urged Nigerians irrespective of their belief systems to promote peace and harmonious coexistence for the unity and stability and progress and development of our nation.

He wished Nigerians and all people of goodwill a merry Christmas.
