Liverpool FC have agreed a deal with Spanish side Sevilla FC and hence completed the signing of international left back Alberto Moreno for £12 million.
An official announcement on the team’s website read “Liverpool can confirm they have reached an agreement with Sevilla for the transfer of Spanish international full-back Alberto Moreno.
“The Reds will proceed with the formalities of finalising the deal for the 22-year-old over the coming days and will make no further
announcement until it is complete.”
The 22-year-old Spanish player passed the medicals during the week, he was omitted out of Sevilla’s squad that faced Champions League winners Real Madrid in the UEFA Super Cup on Tuesday as Sevilla reached an agreement with Liverpool later that day.
The Reds reportedly pursued Alberto all summer but got serious at the start of August, making it the Merseysider’s 8th signing of the
summer.
