Manchester United’s new signing, Morgan Schneiderlin, scored the only goal of the game, as they beat Club America 1-0 in the International Champions Cup.
Louis van Gaal gave debuts to Schneiderlin, Memphis Depay, Matteo Darmian and Bastian Schweinsteiger, as the Premier League side kicked off their pre-season tour of the US.
Schneiderlin found the back of the net in the 5th minute of the game with a header from Juan Mata’s cross.
United were lucky not to concede in the game, as Alejandro Diaz’s effort hit the post and the referee waved away penalty appeals, after Daley Blind fouled Miguel Samudio inside the area.
