Super Eagles defender, Kenneth Omeruo, says he is “enjoying life” at Turkish club, Kasimpasa Spor Kulübü, and has backed Sunday Oliseh to succeed in his new role as Eagles coach.

Omeruo joined the club on a season-long loan deal from Barclays English Premier League champions, Chelsea, on July 20 and is now ready to make a big impression in the Süper Lig.

The 21-year-old has already racked up 270 minutes of action in Kasimpasa’s opening three league games this season against Gençlerbirligi, Istanbul Basaksehir and Gaziantepspor. “I am enjoying life in Turkey and I am looking to help my club do as well as possible this season.

We have two out of three league games this season and will continue to fight till the end. “Fenerbahçe, Besiktas and Galatasaray are seen as the three big clubs in Turkey, but we will give everything to make our fans happy at the end of the season,” Omeruo told supersport.com.

He then took the time to discuss Sunday Oliseh’s latest project with the Nigeria national team. “Oliseh is a legend of Nigerian football and the players respect him.

He understands the game and I am sure he will take us to great heights,” he said. Omeruo made his Nigeria debut in 2013 and has gone on to earn 28 caps for the Super Eagles.
