Super Eagles head coach Stephen Keshi is disturbed by the current crisis at Nigeria Football Federation, as he has reportedly given up on waiting for the football body to accept his proposed terms for a new deal to continue coaching the Eagles.
“I can’t wait any more the NFF is not serious.I have moved on.I can only wish the country well for the future” said Keshi.
NFF survived a catastrophe this week as Men of fire service of Nigeria put out a fire that started at its Headquarters in Abuja.
Stephen Keshi also expressed his frustrations saying that NFF is more focused on it’s internal politics than the welfare of the National team.
“Sadly, I also think attention is focused more on the upcoming NFF elections and the national team is simply not a priority,” were the words of Keshi.
NFF is said to be undergoing crisis as it’s top leaders and officials vie for positions to direct its affairs.
Expressing his concern for the growth of the eagles National team Keshi said making the decision to move on wasn’t an easy one considering that “I’ve had about seven countries approach me in the last two months but I kept them all away,”-Keshi.
