Thieves Steal Wheelchair Belonging To 4-Year-Old Girl Born Without Legs

The police are searching for thieves who stole the wheelchair of a 4-year-old girl who was born without legs.

The thieves (thief) reportedly stole the wheelchair between Saturday and Monday, and also the girl’s backpack, which is attached to the wheelchair.

The girl named Milagros Perez of Santa Ana, California suffers from several medical conditions and uses the wheelchair to go to school.

The wheelchair, which costs $1,500, was stolen from Perez’s apartment in Santa Ana, and her mother Rosa Perez said the family do not have money for a replacement.

The wheelchair was always kept behind the family’s apartment gate because the management of the apartment would not allow them lock it inside.

Speaking on the theft of the wheelchair, a police spokesman of Santa Ana, Anthony Bertagna, said: “Why someone would do that and put her in this situation is terrible.”
