There have been moments on first dates where music filled awkward silences. There have even been moments where our perspectives of people and situations crystalized due to the rhythms that permeated the environments we found ourselves in together.

Many couples have a ‘fave tune’ they discovered together with emotional memories attached to it. Come to think of it, I think my first kiss ever was in tune to a Boys to Men medley that was playing in the background.
