Former Aviation Minister, Chief Femi Fani-Kayode has decried the constant arrest of key opposition figures by the All Progressives Congress (APC)-led government of President Muhammadu Buhari.
Fani-Kayode lamented the arrest of former Benue governor, Gabriel Suswam and senator representing Abia South senatorial district in the National Assembly, Sen. Enyinnaya Abaribe.
The former minister said that no amount of intimidation would cow the opposition, adding that Buhari would be voted out in 2019.
Taking to his verified Twitter handle, Fani-Kayode said:
Last week it was Gabriel Suswan and now it is Enyinna Abaribe. I wonder who is next? Hear this: your vicious clampdown on the opposition changes nothing. Your time is up. You can arrest as many people as you like but one thing is clear: in 2019 you shall be booted out of power.
