Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has presented the 2024 budget proposal of N2.24 trillion to the Lagos State House of Assembly for deliberation and approval.
The 2024 budget proposal tagged “Budget of Renewal” was presented to the state’s legislature today.
The governor said the budget comprises N1.22 trillion as capital expenditure for the year, representing 54.4% of the total budget.
He added that recurrent expenditure for the state in 2024 stood at N1.02 trillion which includes overhead cost, personnel cost, and recurrent debt service.
The state’s House of Assembly shared pictures from the event on its official X handle on Wednesday.
