During an interview with Seun Okinbaloye on Politics Today, Wahab Owokoniran, Secretary of the Lagos PDP, said PDP leaders used N60 million to rebrand rice that cost less than N10 million to buy.
Owokoniran said selfish PDP leaders misappropriated campaign funds to the tune of billions of Naira, and spent the largesse on cars and houses.
In a related development, the Lagos PDP gubernatorial candidate, Mr. Jimi Agbaje said the elections had driven him into debt.
Chairman of the Lagos PDP, Chief Tunji Shelle, however denied the allegations put forward by the Party secretary, saying that he was a mole working for interest looking to destabilize the party.
