Popular musician, Innocent Idibia aka 2Baba has vowed to take care of the family his departed friend and colleague, Olanrewaju Fasasi aka Sound Sultan, left behind.
The Herald reported that Sound Sultan’s family announced his demise on Sunday.
He died aged 44 of Angioimmunoblastic T-Cell Lymphoma, leaving behind his wife, three children and siblings.
Since the incident, tributes have flowed for the Naija Ninja, as Sound Sultan, was sometimes called.
In his tribute, President Muhammadu Buhari noted that Sound Sultan contributed greatly to the development of the Nigerian music and entertainment industry.
Taking to Instagram on Tuesday,2 Baba wrote, “Couldn’t bring myself to do this but what can we do. Rest well.
“Till we meet again my dear friend and brother.
“Still so unreal.
“Will never stop celebrating u.
“I promise u your fam will be safe and good.
“#GRATEFUL for u and the blessings that u represented in my life.”
