For some time now, there have been rumours that veteran Nollywood actor Olumide Bakare was ill. Pictures have just emerged showing that Mr Bakare is indeed sick.
Radio/TV presenter and voice-over artiste Babajide Moronfolu revealed via Facebook that Mr Bakare, who has been on admission at UCH, Ibadan needs some money to stay alive.
He wrote: ‘This is Olumide Bakare on his sick bed at UCH, Ibadan diagnosed of heart/Lungs disease, in his words to me ” Jide Omo Moronfolu, agbara mi o ka mo o, ba mi be a won Omo Nigeria mi won ran mi lowo pelu owo ati adura” (Jide Moronfolu, I cannot handle this sickness anymore. Plead with Nigerians on my behalf to assist me with money and prayers.)

This is calling on well meaning Nigerians to come to the aid of this excellent thespian. Get well soon sir.
