The executive governor of Kogi state, Yahaya Bello is in Mecca, Saudi Arabia ahead of the celebration of his first 100 days in office to seek the face of God.
Governor Bello has always been known for his strict adherence to his religious beliefs and he was pictured in the holy city praying and he enjoined the people of Kogi to pray with him for their state to progress along with the rest ofNigeria.
”May Almighty Allah continue to grow us from strength to strength,” He said.
He embarked on the trip with some of his aides and associates while in the midst of a storm back home.
The governor is held in high regards by some members of the APC in his state who have declared they are happy with him, while others have gone as far as to pass a vote of no confidence on the Governor for what they perceive as the governor sidelining them from affairs of the state.
