The strike action by the Nigerian Labour Council commenced yesterday to moderate success in some states. The strike had been embarked upon when labour’s ultimatum for the reversal of the fuel price expired.
The strike took place in some areas of the country while in others it was business as usual.
Protesters led by NLC President Aliyu Wabba took to the street in Abuja yesterday to decry the issue of fuel price hike amongst other things. Wabba went on to address newsmen of the situation of things.
