A Young man, 20 has been charged to Ikeja Chief Magistrates’ court for having raped a five-year-old girl in Agege on Monday.
The accused, Tosin Kayode who resides at Railway Agege was caught by a passer-by assaulting the young girl.
The young girl is a daughter of one of the beggars who begs for alms in Agege.
The passer-by raised alarm and the accused was immediately apprehended.
However, he pleaded not guilty.
The Chief Magistrate Mrs Taiwo Akanni has adjourned the case till Jan 15, 2018, the accused is being granted a bail sum of 50,000 Naira with two surety in like sums.
