Brothers kill grandmother to make effective Yahoo charm in Benin

Four brothers based in Benin have murdered their grandmother in order to get rich quick. According to reports, the brothers who are also upcoming internet fraudsters consulted a herbalist to help them with a money making charm.

The incident which occurred on December 12, 2017, at 28, Asowata Street, Ohovbe Quarters, in Ikpoba-Okha Local Government Area is currently being investigated by the police.

The identities of the brothers were given as Dickson, Salaya, Martins and Austin. 

According to sources, the herbalist instructed the boys to strap a live tortoise to their back and kill someone very close to them.

Following the instruction from the native doctor, the four brothers, on getting home, were said to have strapped a tortoise on one of them and together they smashed their grandmother’s head against a wall, Sun news reports.

The police arrested two of the boys as they were caught trying to dispose the body of Grace, the grandmother.

The two brothers in custody have confessed to the crime while others arrested, including the native doctor, have been granted bail.
