The agency’s Acting Executive Secretary, Alhaji Rabi’u Kamba, told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Birnin Kebbi on Tuesday that the IDPs were living behind Oando Filling Station, Takalau and Malala in Birnin Kebbi.

Kamba said that the relief materials would also be extended to IDPs in Bunza, Danko/Wasagu, and other areas soon, adding that flood and bandit attacks had forced the IDPs out of their communities.

He listed the items given to the IDPs to include rice, beans, maize, millet, salt, detergent, vegetable oil, and yams.
