Nigerian media personality, IK Osakioduwa, has debunked rumours that he has coronavirus.
Earlier on, rumors had been spreading online that the host of the 2020 Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Award, AMVCA, IK Osakioduwa had contracted the virus.
IK shared a video on his social media on Monday, March 23rd in which he cleared the air on reports suggesting he had infected other people who attended the 2020 edition of the Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards (AMVCA) after returning from the UK.

He said: “I’m seeing people passing messages on WhatsApp that I travelled to London, came back with the coronavirus, took it to the AMVCAs, took it to some clubs.
“I haven’t been to London in a very long time. I haven’t been to that club… I don’t have coronavirus”
Earlier on, Big Brother reality star, Alexandra Sandra Asogwa Amuche, popularly known as Alex Unusual called out other celebrities she hugged at AMVCA after a celebrity photography who was at the event reportedly tested positive for coronavirus.
The news of the celebrity with Coronavirus attending AMVCA was first made public by controversial journalist, Kemi Olunloyo, before another lady added that Nollywood needs to shut down and those that attended #amvca2020 advised to self isolate.
