There is pandemonium in Abuja after security operatives of the Nigeria Police Force opened teargas on peaceful #EndSARS protesters.

This is coming after Nigerians took a stand against the brutality of operatives of Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) on innocent citizens.

Nigerians have embarked on peaceful protests in different parts of the country demanding the immediate disbandment of the SARS

However, it came as a rude shock when Police officers opened teargas to disperse the  peaceful protesters in Abuja, who ran into to take refuge from the angry officers.

This has cause an uproar on social media as citizens feel their basic human rights are being violated.

Police Trucks are still moving around Central Area/ Transcorp Hilton area looking for groups of 4 or more people standing together so they can arrest them.

Are we fighting war?

@bestdgooners

If the dumb Nigerian leaders wont hear our voices, global leaders will

And it will be on record that in our time a tyrant was enthroned and the legislators where his puppets while the judiciary were his errand boys

This mistake we call leadership will never happen again

We were heading to the secretariat to peacefully protest before 5 police vans blocked us and started spraying teargas in the air.

Charging at us like we were armed robbers.
