Abductors demand N350m ransom for abducted Zamfara college students

The abductors of students and staff of the College of Agriculture and Animal Science, Bakura in Zamfara State have demanded N350 million ransom.

Provost of the College, Alhaji Habibu Mainasara, confirmed the development.

He said that the abductors confirmed having 20 students and staff of the school in their custody.

“They said that the money must be paid before they could release the staff and the students they kidnapped in my school,” Mainasara said.

Mainasara was one time kidnapped by bandits and released after paying ransom.

Recall that two staff and one student of the college escaped from their abductors and returned to the school on Monday.
