Toke Makinwa has been back in the spotlight after her ignominious split with her estranged husband, Maje Ayida. Ever since then a lot of fans have posed the question of marriage to her and she is hitting back.
The radio personality and vlogger took to her twitter to decry society’s apparent obsession with marriage and women being in a man’s home.
Recently, Makinwa clarified her status through a series of posts where she maintained that she is now single. The 31-year-old came out a while ago to say she was comfortable with herself again and ready to move on and move forward after her failed marriage. Before now, there were speculations that she had made peace with Ayida, but the OAP set the records straight in early March.
