A notorious rapist in the Ibeshe area of Ikorodu has bitten more than he could chew as he was apprehended and beaten by a mob, almost to the point of death.
The suspected rapist is said to be part of the Baddo criminal gang, known to have been terrorizing the area for some time now. The clan is implicated in several rapes in the community, often killing or maiming their victims.
In July this year, the alleged leader of the gang was tied, beaten and burnt alive by an angry mob.
This young man was stripped naked and thorougly beaten. However, he refused to name the people who sent him and his cohorts to rape and butcher women from house to house. He was later handed to the police.
