Boss Mustapha, Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), has warned that almajiri system will overwhelm the Country with problems in the future if not handled urgently.
According to him, almajiri system will sink the country if the students are not educated, equipped with skills and taught to be productive citizens.
Premium Times reported that the SGF stated this while giving a speech at the presidential task force briefing on COVID-19 on Monday, April 27.
He said:
”Equip them, skill them so that they can become educated in their state and also productive citizens in the future.
”If we do not deal with the issues relating to the almajiris, we are building an army that would overwhelm us as a people and as a nation in the future”.
