Governor Akinwunmi Ambode of Lagos state is currently Nigeria’s best performing governor.
This comes from a poll currently underway organised by the African Leadership Magazine is to determine Nigeria’s top performing governor.
Ambode’s Chief Press Secretary, Mr. Habib Aruna said that the poll tagged; ‘ Good Governance Polls for Nigeria’s Top Performing Governor, ’ started two weeks ago, with Ambode maintaining the lead with increased 36.1 percent of the total votes cast.
The reasoning behind the poll according to the group is to monitor performance and gauge the mood of Nigerians.
This information will help the group in its objective of providing credible information and support to leaders in Nigeria and Africa at large.
The poll is still ongoing and will officially end in 4 days.
