Barely three weeks after the shooting of Kolade Johnson by policemen, a 20-year-old girl has died and her male partner is battling for his life after both were shot by policemen from Trinity Police Station, Ajegunle over the weekend.
According to Police Reforms Advocate, Segun ‘Sega’ Awosanya, “They were coming from club last (Friday) night, as alleged when police chased them, double crossed them and shot the guy while the lady in question was shot twice.”
However, many angry Nigerians have called for an end to extrajudicial killings by police after the incident.
