Nigerians are still reeling from the shock of the amendment of the 14-count charge filed against Allison Madueke Diezani, former Minister of Petroleum by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC). However, there are speculations that the amendment of the 14-count charge to a 4-count charge may or may not be related to the victory of the All Progressives Congress at the November 16 Bayelsa Governorship elections
The Herald earlier reported that EFCC has dropped the 14-count charge against former Petroleum Minister. Nigerians have taken to different social media platforms to react to this news.

This administration is doing all it can to pacify the political class & build bridges sequel to a third term bid. The Diezani matter is another pointer to it’s reapproachment with the Jonathan camp. Next will be Patience’s money. Opposition politics is now Dead on Arrival.
