Daniel Bwala, Special Adviser to the Deputy Senate President on Legal Matters who recently resigned his membership of the APC, says some members of the party are wishing him death over his action.

Bwala trended on social media on Sunday after he announced his resignation from APC.

He announced the decision shortly after the party’s presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu picked a fellow Muslim, Senator Kashim Shettima as his running mate for the February 25, 2023 presidential polls.

“Tonight I officially resigned my membership of @OfficialAPCNg on principles and conviction that I hold so dear. At this time of our national existence, our efforts and energy should gravitate towards uniting our people,” he tweeted.

But in another tweet on Wednesday, he said some members of the APC have been verbally abusing and making threats against him.

“Life is full of surprises. 7years of unflinching loyalty I gave to APC all at my own expense and most of the times at the risk of my life. Just because i made a decision based upon my conviction, THE SAME PROGRESSIVES now calling me all sots of names and some wishing me death. Sad,” Bwala wrote.
