Aso Villa On Standby As Buhari’s Return Imminent

Less than 48 hours after Cable News Network host, Fareed Zakaria mocked the Nigerian nation, it has been learned that President Muhammad Buhari’s return to the country is imminent.

Daily Trust reports that Aso Villa staff have been put on standby. The newspaper you can trust also reported that an aide of Aisha Buhari said the first lady would return on Wednesday, August 2nd.

Mrs Buhari’s aide said: “The information just reached me now from the wife of the president, that everything is set for the return of Mr President to Nigeria. Already, some of the president’s family members and security aides of madam (Aisha Buhari) have just returned from London.

“The wife of the president may either leave London on Wednesday or decide to come home with the president anytime soon. We have been told to be on standby because Mr President is returning any time soon this week.”

State House staff also reportedly disclosed that the preparation guidelines directive did not disclose when the President would return exactly.

President Buhari had recently stated that he would return back to Nigeria as soon as it was deemed fit for him to do so by his doctors.

Several political analysts had speculated that the President who has been in the United Kingdom on medical leave since May 7th would return before 90 days elapsed so as to avoid any embarrassing emergency motions in the National Assembly that could lead to a breakdown of law and order in the country.

It is not known if a team of medical doctors from London will also be relocating to Aso Villa.
