The Nigeria Police Force, Kogi State Command, lost two officers during a gun battle at a robbery in Okene, Kogi State, on Friday, July 31, 2015.
The incident occurred during a robbery at the Okene branch of First Bank, at the Old Prison Junction of the town, reports say.
The robbers were said to have stormed the bank premises around 8.55am, shooting sporadically to create a panic atmosphere as workers and customers simmered.

He stated that the police have started a manhunt for the robbers and would not relent until they are arrested.
