Renowned comedian and actor, Bright Okpocha, popularly known as Basketmouth, has extended a heartfelt invitation to legendary musician, Innocent Ujah Idibia, famously known as 2Baba, to fully embrace the world of cinema. This call comes after 2Baba’s notable performance in the latest episode of Basketmouth’s skit series, The Secret Of Lulu.
Basketmouth took to his X handle to commend 2Baba’s role in the skit and encouraged him to consider a complete shift towards a career in acting, particularly in the realm of comedy. Expressing his enthusiasm for 2Baba’s comedic talent, Basketmouth revealed that he is already conceptualizing a project centered around the musician’s comic character from the skit.
In the post, Basketmouth wrote, “My brother @official2baba we should create something beautiful from this character you played here, I think it’s going to be a masterpiece. My brain don dey cook something already. Think about it blood.”
It’s worth noting that 2Baba has previously dipped his toes into the world of Nollywood, featuring in movies such as ‘Head Gone,’ ‘Make A Move,’ and making a cameo appearance in ’10 Days In Sun City.’
