Roberto Martinez’s Belgium team has won the third place in the ongoing 2018 World Cup after defeating England 2-0.

A goal each from Thomas Meunier and Eden Hazard ensured Belgium romped to their best finish in the World Cup.

While Meunier scored a 4th-minute effort from a beautiful Nacer Chadli cross, Hazard took the game beyond Gareth Southgate’s team with a goal from a Kevin De Bruyne assist.

The third-place game paved the way for Sunday’s final between surprise finalists Croatia and France.
