Actor and director Ben Affleck has been checked back to rehab after falling back into an alcohol addiction that he has since struggled with.
The Justice League actor recently broke up with Saturday Night Live producer, Lindsay Shookus, and was said to have since then fallen back into a drinking habit
He was helped out by his soon-to-be Ex-wife Jennifer Garner who was the one to come and pick him up and take him away
According to E! News, the mother of three got to the actor’s home in the Pacific Palisades with her bodyguard in tow on Wednesday at 6 p.m., Garner then proceeded to stage an intervention for the father of their three children, Violet, Serafina and Samuel.
E! News also reported that Garner said to paparazzi stationed at the house that it “wasn’t a good time and to please leave the house,”

The Entertainment news agency also reported that an insider said; “He told Jen and was not resistant. He asked her to take him and she wanted to be there for him,”
Ben Affleck has had a well-documented fight with alcohol addiction, completing a stint in rehab last year and stating then in a Facebook statement, “I have completed treatment for alcohol addiction; something I’ve dealt with in the past and will continue to confront. I want to live life to the fullest and be the best father I can be. I want my kids to know there is no shame in getting help when you need it, and to be a source of strength for anyone out there who needs help but is afraid to take the first step.”
Ben Affleck continued: “I’m lucky to have the love of my family and friends, including my co-parent, Jen, who has supported me and cared for our kids as I’ve done the work I set out to do. This was the first of many steps being taken towards a positive recovery,”
Once again he can count on Jennifer Garner to stand by him
