Mercy Eke, winner of Big Brother Naija’s “Pepper Dem” season, surprised fans with a social media update revealing her hospitalization.
Just a day after being seen enjoying herself on a yacht, Eke, known by her fans as “Lambo,” shared a picture from a hospital bed on her Instagram story. The post served as a reminder of life’s impermanence, but offered no details on the reason for her hospitalization.
“Don’t waste your time in anger, regrets, and worries; life is too short to be unhappy,” Eke wrote. “Who would have thought that I would end up in a hospital barely 24 hours after I was seen outside?“
Her message reflected on the unexpected turn of events, mentioning, “I’m just having different thoughts of what could have been the worst case.” She continued, expressing gratitude and acknowledging the importance of health: “God, I thank you for your loving kindness. Life is so f*cked [sic]. Good health is underrated.“
