In a recent interview with the Sun newspaper, Bimbo revealed that movie producers in the Nigerian film industry wanted to exploit her attractive figure for slutty roles, but she refused to succumb to their expectations.
Bimbo Ademoye expressed her discomfort with the offers she received to portray characters such as a sexy secretary, side chic, or husband snatcher solely because of her “figure 8” body shape. Despite the pressure from filmmakers, she stood her ground and refused to be pigeonholed into these stereotypical roles.
She credited Uduak Isong, a film producer, for taking a chance on her and offering her a role that showcased her talent beyond her physical appearance. This opportunity opened doors for Bimbo, leading to more diverse roles and recognition in the industry. The actress expressed gratitude to Uduak Isong, acknowledging that her career took a positive turn because of the chance she was given.
