A medical doctor has accused Buhari of hypocrisy due to his trip to the UK for Medical treatment.
Dr Osahon Enabulele accused the President of reneging on his promise to end medical tourism by participating in it himself.
Enabulele questioned Buhari’s trip especially when when Nigeria had more than 250 ear, nose and throat (ENT) specialists, as well as a National Ear Centre.
He called Buhari’s actions a “National Shame”. Enabulele is the vice-president of the Commonwealth Medical Association.
According to Enabulele, Nigeria has more than 3,000 doctors in the UK and 5,000 in the US.
He stated that Buhari should have patronised local doctors and led by example as that was the only way people were going to follow his lead.
