Carlo Ancelotti Replaces Maurizio Sarri As Napoli Manager

Carlo Ancelotti, former Bayern Munich manager who was sacked last season, is now the new manager of Napoli on a three-year contract.

Speaking about the replaced manager, Maurizio Sarrri, Napoli president Aurelio de Laurentiis said: “I thank Maurizio Sarri for his dedication to Napoli that has given the city and the fans worldwide prestige and emotions.

“He created a model of play admired everywhere and by anyone. Bravo Maurizio.”

The former Real Madrid and Chelsea manager, Ancelotti has won four top-tier league titles, three Champions League trophies and three domestic cups across Europe’s top five leagues during his managing career.

Speaking on his new appointment, Ancelotti said, “I am really happy and honoured to manage a team with a unique city and incredible fans.”
