Church where Chained 9-year-old Boy was found sealed off

The Celestial Church of Christ branch where a little boy, Korede Taiwo was found has been sealed off.

The boy was found last week chained and malnourished by his father, before being rescued by NSCDC officials.

The father, Francis Taiwo, had said that Korede was a recurrent thief who stole from his step mother’s cooking pot.

The parish located at Wasinmi Ajibawo, in Ado-Odo/Ota Local Council of Ogun State has now been sealed off by community members.

The Baale of the community, Chief Saliu Ayinla Babayanju disclosed also adding that the land, where the church is located, would  be seized by the community immediately.

Korede has since been adopted by the Ogun state government and is currently on admission at the Federal Medical Centre (FMC), Idi-Aba, Abeokuta where he’s receiving medical treatment.

According to the Guardian, the whole premises is bereft of any activity and the surrounding areas too are deserted. All those looking for deliverance have moved elsewhere.

Francis is set to be possibly charged with attempted murder for the way Korede was treated.
