Last year, it was Anna Banner, Ms. Bayelsa, a light skinned chic that won the Silverbird Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria competition. This year, Iheoma Nnadi, Ms. Akwa Ibom, also a light skinned chic from the South-South has won the competition.
From these facts, one can deduce light skinned girls from the South South stay winning. Iheoma is cute, just like Anna Banner, however are the pageant organizers sending a subliminal message to Nigerian girls. Maybe a message like, invest in bleaching cream and you too can win.
Is Whitenicious the sponsor of MBGN? I mean this is all for the sake of humour, but we need to let dark skinned Nigerian girls know that they are beautiful too by rewarding them with the crowns they deserve too.
Also where are all the curvy girls at? Did none contest in the competition? How can you have a pageant in Nigeria about beauty, and not a single curvy young woman is in attendance? Who is screening these girls? No Booty, really?
